Fadogia agrestis is a small shrub from the Rubiaceae family, native to Nigeria but also found in regions extending from Ghana to Sudan. Traditionally, it has been used to lower fever, as an aphrodisiac, and to treat erectile dysfunction.

According to this rodent study, supplementation with Fadogia agrestis for 5 days led to remarkable (2-fold up to 6-fold) increases in testosterone and enhanced libido. Based on the magnitude of its effect in animal studies, it appears to be one of the more potent herbs for increasing both testosterone and libido. In another animal study, supplementation with Fadogia agrestis increased testicular weight by 11–15%.
