What is DEF Reset?

DEF {DISCIPLINE EQUALS FREEDOM} RESET

If you want more freedom in life, you need to have more discipline. But discipline isn’t easy – it takes effort, commitment, and consistency. That’s where DEF Reset comes in. Through expert guidance, powerful video lessons, and actionable tactics, you’ll master eight core habits that transform how you approach your goals – day after day, all year long.

The Essential DEF Habits

Throughout the Reset, consider each habit, identify a specific and achievable goal per category, and track your progress.

Up Before the ENemy

Commit to your wake-up time. Win the first battle of the day.

Get After It

45 minutes of intentional physical activity. Every single day.

Prioritize & Execute

Identify the top 3 things you need to get done today and execute.

Hydrate or Die

Set and hit your daily hydration goal.

Clean Fuel

Follow your clean nutrition protocol. No sugar. No junk. No excuses.

No Sugarcoated Lies

No blatant sugar (cookies, candy, cake, ice cream, donuts, etc.).

Back to the Book

Spend at least 20 minutes a day on personal development (reading a book, journaling, meditating etc.).

Remember

Take a minute to think about something you are grateful for each day.

Jocko hosts a live "Commander's Brief" to set the mission, teach core principles, and answer your questions in real-time.

A simple downloadable PDF habit tracker and optional app with exclusive video lessons to keep you on the Path.

30 brutally simple, high-impact workouts programmed by Jocko himself, straight from his notepad.

Unfiltered motivation and intel from the DEF Reset team in our "inner circle" Instagram broadcast channel.

Win a Workout With Jocko

Win an all-expenses-paid trip to San Diego where you will get a 1:1 workout session with Jocko, PLUS 1 ticket to the Muster Premier Leadership Training Conference.

Don’t Make a Resolution.

Execute A Mission.

How it Works

Before you start stacking wins, you need a plan of attack. DEF Reset isn’t about guessing, hoping, or “trying your best.” It’s a clear, disciplined process built to push you, challenge you, and get you executing with purpose every single day.

Here’s how you get after it:

Step 1 — Sign Up

Join the free 4-week DEF Reset. You’ll receive an email with access to the DEF Reset HQ which will host the workouts, lessons, and daily habit tracker.

Step 2 — Execute the 8 Habits

Train hard, fuel right, plan your day, and reflect nightly. Track your progress in the DEF Reset App or with the printable tracker.

Step 3 — Post with #DEFReset

Show your progress on Instagram or TikTok using #DEFReset. Each post earns a shot at our Weekly Prize—one winner chosen every week.

Step 4 — Join the Community

Take part in livestreams, tackle weekly challenges, and connect with others on the same mission. Accountability drives results.

Step 5 — Finish Strong

Complete all four weeks and you’ll lock in lasting discipline—and a chance at the Grand Prize.

Who It's For

The DEF Reset is for people like us. The early risers, the high-performers, the ones who choose the hard way, on purpose. Men. Women. Parents. Professionals badasses.

What you get out of it

Every breakthrough starts with a reset — a deliberate choice to tighten things up and get back on the path. DEF Reset gives you the structure, discipline, and accountability to do exactly that. By the end of DEF Reset, you’ll:

> Build consistency in your training, nutrition, and mindset.
> Take control of your habits, your time, your life.
> Define your purpose and sharpen your edge.
> Earn insight from Jocko—on leadership, execution, and self-mastery.

This isn’t motivation. This isn’t theory. It’s application — daily execution with accountability from Jocko himself.
