"I work in the construction trades, these keep me fueled from sunrise to sunset. Easy to keep a few on hand on days where we’re working hard and I need the fuel to keep up with the demands of work. One in the morning on the way in, one at break, sometimes another one or two before the day is over if we’re doing some extra hard labor or if the sun is beating down on us all day and we’re beat. I always keep one or two extra with me in case my foreman or other workers need a helping hand as the day get tough. Liquid foods sit in my stomach better than solid foods and I don’t get bogged down by a food coma during break. If I need to slam an extra one, it doesn’t take long to rip it open, chug it, and get right back to work. I used to use the protein powders when starting out as they were more economical, but the means outweighed the cost to have the ready-to-drink versions on hand and easily consumable. I still use the powder at home for chores, but the demands of work make these the best option for anyone that works hard and needs the protein without the extra weight of solid foods sit or extra prep steps of powder shakes.
